Call of Duty: Finest Hour Glitch: Exceed Normal Ammo Maximum
Normally, all guns carry a nominal maximum of reserve bullets (i.e., MP40 carries 32 in the magazine and 160 rounds in reserve). You can exceed this maxima for your non-default guns by dying and restarting from a checkpoint.

The game will assume that you still carry the gun you previously had (i.e., MP40 in this example) and allow you to collect ammo for it even though you do not have the gun in your possession.

When you do choose to pick up the gun you’ve had on your previous play, you will find that you’ll have more than the normal amount of ammo for that weapon.

This glitch has been verified for the PS2 debug version of the game on the following stages using the MP40 (’cause it’s common folks): Dead In Her Sights, Raiding the Fortress, Last Bridge Standing, and Into The Heartland.

Call of Duty: Finest Hour Hint: Big Red Apple
In the Russian campaign, right at the beginning of the mission Operation Little Saturn, turn left and find a scraggly tree all by itself along the embankment. Go over/through the embankment just right of the tree, and then turn left and find a road that leads away from the rest of the board. After a while you will see a huge red apple in the distance. You can drive right through it to find something else that doesn’t belong in a WWII game.

Call of Duty: Finest Hour Easter Egg: Weird Dance Party
Head to the second level of the Western Theater (the stage is entitled ‘Underground Passage’).

At the very end of the level, you will approach a hole in the brick wall (after killing the final two or three Nazis) that will be the obvious exit out of the tunnels. Don’t go through the exit. Rather, walk backwards (retreat) past the last alcove, to the second from the last alcove on the left. Look carefully. You’ll notice that this is a boarded-up side tunnel.

It takes about four (or more) grenades to explode the opening. Grenades are apparently the only thing that will destroy the 4 or 5 planks loosely covering the opening.

Once open, head down the tunnel. It’s just a few feet and a couple of turns to the dance party. Incidently, there are 7 characters dancing around. 5 Germans, 1 Brit and 1 Russian (Tatiana).

Also, you can interact with the phonographs if you move behind the table. You’ll see a radio(?) symbol appear (in the same way the symbol for moving your comrades appears). When you press ‘x’ you’ll hear a record scratch sound (not terribly impressive).

There is also a M1919A6 machine gun that you can pick up in the room. Stay awhile, watch’m strut their stuff. The Russian woman takes the cake with some wacky break dance moves (there’s even cardboard on the floor).

Call of Duty: Finest Hour Easter Egg: Teddy Bear
In the stage Surrender at Aachen (Western Front), you will be in an enemy occupied house right from the start. The small room directly across from where you start from has a small teddy bear you may acquire with that will restore your health.

Cabela’s Big Game Hunter Get X-Ray Scope
To get an X-Ray scope, fill all the tags for any given area. Then play that area in Quick Hunt. Press X while using the scope for X-Ray vision.

This also works in “Career Hunt” mode. If you have money left over after you have beat the game go buy more tags & go hunt any of the locations except Alaska and you will get the Xray scope.

Go to Alberta and buy a Wolf tag. Try to get 4 one shot one kill bonuses to keep adding to your cash pile. This also works on any other multiple kill trophy tags.

The wolves are located in Harold’s Creek and Hicklan hunting areas.

Cabela’s Big Game Hunter Hint: Easy Money
In career mode buy a tag for wolf in Alberta, or coyote in Texas. The tag will only cost $200, but if you kill all 4 of them with one shot you get $100 for a clean shot bonus. After you kill all 4 of your animals go back to the main menu and into location, go to the store and you’ll have $200 more than you started with at the beginning of your last hunt.

There are four endings in Silent Hill 4: The Room: Escape (the good ending), Mother, Eileen’s Death, and the 21 Sacraments (the bad ending). Ironically enough, the worst ending is the most interesting, and the best is the least interesting. To get Escape, you must take good care of Eileen and your room. For Mother, make sure Eileen is okay but disregard your room. For Eileen’s Death, disregard Eileen’s safety/sanity but take care of your room. For the 21 Sacraments, don’t bother with either of them.

Silent Hill 4: The Room Unlockable: Full Weapon Mode
To unlock Full Weapon Mode, score a 100 rank in One Weapon Mode. Full Weapon Mode is the exact opposite of One Weapon Mode.

Silent Hill 4: The Room Hint: Possessions
Throughout the latter part of the game, your apartment will become possessed and/or haunted. If you took the Shabby Doll that the mysterious man gave you inside of the Apartment World, Ghosts will slowly come into your apartment. No matter what, however, your apartment will become possessed from time to time. You must eliminate these possessions by lighting Holy Candles near the possessed item, or equipping a Saint Medallion once you go near it.

Sometimes if you look out of Henry’s windows, you may see a hot air baloon in the sky that has the Silent Hill 3 bunny rabbit from the amusement park as its design. You will also see the bunny as a stuffed animal if you look through the hole in the apartment where you can see Eileen’s room.

When Henry first enters the Hospital world, one views a cut scene showing the mysterious trench coat man chopping up a cadaver. That or the Silent Hill creators just threw it in to mess with player’s minds.

Burnout 3: Takedown Hint: Starting Direction
You can turn your car while wheel spinning at the beginning of a crash junction. This can be useful for aiming at a pick-up or ramp.

Burnout 3: Takedown Hint: Allow a Pass
If you are low on boost and a rival is right behind you, slow down until he passes you. Then, get a takedown by making them crash. This gives you a lot of boost and guarantees they won’t come back on you at the end.

Swing Away Golf Unlock All Characters
There are three hidden characters to unlock in Swing Away Golf and normally you would have to beat the game to be able to use them. Now all you have to do is enter a single cheat code. Go to the Main Menu and press:

L2, R2, L2, R2, UP, RIGHT, DOWN, LEFT, L1, R1.

If you get the code right you’ll hear a sound and when you enter any mode (Story or Normal) the extra characters Sam, Meg and Steven will be yours to select.

In order to purchase everything in the game, you’d normally have to play through the single player portion multiple upon multiple times. Not so. You’re actually able to load a saved game without reverting back to the number of tokens you had at the time of the save. Any tokens you earn will always stay with you and add to your total, regardless if you load a saved game. You can also change the difficulty level and play a saved game at that new setting, which will earn you more tokens.

The best way to take advantage of this is to play all the way through the single player game on any difficulty setting, making sure you save when you reach the last boss. The last level gives you far and away the most tokens, and once you get the pattern down it’s not an overly difficult battle. Every time you load that level, beat it and then save the game, your Battle Token total will increase by a nice amount.

You should earn a minimum of around 30,000 tokens for beating the last boss on Easy level, 45,000 on Medium, and 60,000 on Hard. Once you’re able to beat Cerebulon on Easy mode, bump it up to Medium and then Hard difficulty. The fight normally takes around five minutes if you can beat him without having to continue, so it won’t take long to earn enough credits to buy everything in the game.

War of the Monsters Hint: Earthquake in Baytown
To activate an earthquake in the Baytown Level (not the mini version) crush every building as low as possible. The whole town will shake for a while and a giant pit will open up.

If you want to earn good cop points quickly, go to a street called Rose Ave. in Venice. All of the people walking on that street are usually either carrying drugs or guns. (Rose Ave. is the street by the beach and in directly on the “N” in the title Venice on the map; you can look up the map from the start menu).

You can exploit a game bug to effectively give Nick Kang unlimited ammo with a gun of your choice. This trick will only work in the free-roam missions, as other missions won’t allow you to holster your gun as the trick requires.

Pick up the gun for which you’d like unlimited ammo, and then pick up a secong gun to move the first gun to Nick’s right hand. When your right-handed gun is low on ammunition, holster your guns and press R1 + R2 to fire a shot into the air (just once). Unholster your weapons and the right-handed weapon should have a full clip of ammo. Repeat the trick as necessary.

When you frisk them, they will always either be “packing heat or holding dope”. Remember, they must be past the plane of the chain link fence on the sidewalk for this to work.
