Quake Beat Shub-Niggurath
When you enter the room with Shub-Niggurath you’ll see a spiked ball if you play through the level. When it goes through Shub-Niggurath, walk through the teleporter on the walkway.

Quake Hidden Pictures
The Crypt of Decay:
To find the “Dopefish,” when you see the exit, turn back go onto the bridge. You should see a quad power-up on a ledge. When you get on the ledge, you will see an extremly small ledge that you can barely walk on. At the end, you can jump into “The Well of Wishes.” The Dopefish will be there.

The Underearth
To find the weird picture, find all the faces on the walls and shoot each once. You will know which ones you shot because blood will come out only the first time. When you shoot all of them, look for a hallway with a short opening and a villain on each side. One of them will open to a small room with a picture in it.

Quake Nightmare Mode
Go to the episode 4 entrance and enter the water. Now backup against the wall as if trying to go back the other way. Stay there until you fall again. You should land on a big piece of wood. Walk along the side to find another entrance that leads to the Nightmare gate.

Quake Cheat Codes
To use these codes, press ‘~’ while playing to call up the console, then type the desired code.

Code Effect
GOD Invincibility toggled on or off.
FLY Toggles flight
GIVE S# Gain # shells
GIVE H# Gain # health
GIVE N# Gain # nails
GIVE R# Gain # rockets
GIVE C# Gain # cells
GIVE # Get weapon #
KILL Commit suicide
NOCLIP Go through walls.
NOTARGET Monsters won’t attack you unless provoked.
MAP ExMy Warp to episode X, mission Y
SKILL # Sets difficulty level (# = 0-3)
IMPULSE 9 All weapons
IMPULSE 11 Display runes (you don’t actually get them)
IMPULSE 13 Silver key
IMPULSE 14 Gold key
IMPULSE 255 Quad Damage!!!!
SV_GRAVITY -50 Reduces gravity by 50%. Replace “-50″ with any number.

Hint: To make these codes easier to enter you can bind them to a single key. To do so, enter the console and type bind (any key) “cheat”. For example, to bind the cheat for all weapons to the backslash (), type:

bind “impulse 9″

After that, every time you want to get all keys, guns, and ammo, just hit the key, and you’ve got it.

Quake Power Up Cheat (with Armor)
This code has been tested with version 1.06.

Beat any episode of Quake and save as much ammo and armor as possible. After you return to the level select screen, save your game and quit out of the game entirely. Now re-enter the game and open that save file. Walk backwards into the teleporter and return to the first telepad (where you start the game.) Go toward the Hard difficultly and fall into the lava.

When you restart, you will respawn with all your health, ammo, armor and weapons! You will lose your rune but that’s alright compared to the power you have to enter later episodes.

Quake Secret Level
To find The Underearth level you must be in The Crypt of Decay. When you see the exit, go straight back. You should be in a room with boxes and a button on the ceiling. Shoot the button, then jump on the boxes into the secret room. Push the button, then go to the hidden “Well of Wishes.” Now look around the walls and a wall will open for you. When you get out, there will be a underwater doorway that leads to the secret level.

Quake Runes
If you look carefully you’ll find four runes hidden in the world of Quake. Here’s what they do:

Elder Magic: Provides you with 150-250 points of energy and 150 armor.

Black Magic: Your attacks do 3x normal damage.

Hell Magic: Reduces ammo usage.

Earth Magic: Protects you from most damage, but won’t save you from quad attacks.

Quake Feign Death
This is pretty strange and I can’t really figure out if it is a secret or a bug but here it is. Type in “Give health”. You die but you are still alive. It looks like you are dead and bad guys can not see you but you can shoot. If your health goes down the slightest you are really dead but until then you aren’t. To move, you put god mode on and get your rocket launcher out. Shoot the wall and it will richochet in your favored direction.

Quake Ziggurat Vertigo
In episode 1 at “The Grizzly Grotto”, after you hit all quake switches after going up the elevator, doors will open to your left and right. Enter one and hit the switch. Do the same thing again on the other side. It will say “A secret cave has been opened.” Go to the water. when you enter, look around. You will see a cave opened where a portal leads you to Ziggurat Vertigo.

Quake Crypt of Decay mode
This is even harder than the hidden Nightmare skill. To reach it, follow the instructions for the Nightmare difficulty, but when you start down the hallway to the portal before you turn, there will be a wall decoration type thing. Shoot this with your shotgun, you will know if you did it because the wall will bleed and a message saying you have selected Crypt of Decay mode pops up. Then proceed down the hallway to the portal and choose your episode.

Quake II Secrets
Here are three secrets to find and enjoy.

1. In the first unit go to level 3, and walk forward until you see an Enforcer, a Rebreather and a large pool area. Kill the two Light guards, then kill the Enforcer. Next grab the Rebreather and press B to activate it. Now go inside the pool area and when you see the large crack on the bottom of the pool area go in to it by ducking because you are too tall to enter it if you are not ducking. Next search around the bottom of the pool area until you see a small tunnel. Enter it and follow until you are in a sort of room of water, hold space bar until you see a little room. It will tell you “you have found a secret”, and if you did it correctly you will see two bodies and a elevator. Go in the elevator and press the button. It will say “You have found a secret level”

2. After you kill The final boss in the last level, seach around the play area were you fought the boss until you see a button on the ground. There are two of them which are on either side of the play area. You should see a hole leading downwards. Enter it and you will see a button. Look straight at the button, turn around and you will see a few ammo packs and a little crack in the wall. Shoot the crack in the wall and and follow the little passage way. At the end of the short passage it says “Welcome to the id gallery”. You will see pictures of the staff of id software. Then look by the photos and step on all the buttons and a hole will appear at the end of gallary. Go down it and go to the end of the hallway. There you will find something funny.

3. In the Receiving center go to the area where you see a waterfall. Go backwards 5 or 6 paces and run all the way to the waterfall and then jump when you are about to jump of the ledge and land inside the waterfall.

Neverwinter Nights Cheat List
To make the cheats work, you’ll first have to edit a game file with a text editor. Make sure you back this file up before proceeding.

In the game’s folder, find the file named “nwn.ini.” In the Game Options section of this file, add this phrase:

Debug Mode=1

If you are going to be affecting the character at all, open the “nwnplayer.ini” file and add these lines:

Single Player Enforce Legal Characters=0
Single Player ItemLevelRestrictions=0

This will allow you to play past the module you’re on.

Once these things are changed, save the file and start the game. During gameplay, press the ~ key, then type DebugMode=1 in the console that appears. This will enable cheat mode. Now, you can cycle through the codes with the ~ key. Enter cheats from the list below. If you get the message “Enter Target Mode” appears, click on the character you’d like it to affect in order to enable the code. A “Success” message will tell you you’ve entered the code correctly.

Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance PC Cheats

Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance Playing Tips
If you’re sick of getting killed from behind, set your shields to maximum(F10 key) and transfer shield energy to behind your by pressing the “S” key.You can also transfer partial power from weapoons to shields by pressing the ” ‘ ” key.

If you are having trouble protecting a target, you can find out who’s attacking the target by pressing the “A” key while targeting the craft or object you want to protect.

If you want to get anywhere faster, you can transfer either all or partial power from either or both shields and lasers to engines by pressing the “F9″ and “F10″

Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance Outrun Missiles/Torps
Sick of getting killed by little renegade missiles or torps? You can simply escape them by doing these things: When you are being targeted try to dodge by waiting right before they get a solid lock tone on you then break really hard, or when the missile gets launched hit “/” and then hit”*” and turn it so you can see the direction of the missile and wait for it to come to you. When it’s about .50 clicks from impact on you break really hard or bank off then reverse throttle and come to a dead stop. The missile or torp should sail right over you. But beware they will chase you for a while, so when you get away from it, come around and get on it’s tail. Then you can target it with “I” and get a laser or missile/torp lock on the missile itself, then blast it to bits before it can come around for another pass. If you are going after something extremely important like a capital ship stay on it and pump everything into either shields or engines. If you rever! t to engines then you better make sure you can get in close enough that the capital ship will blast it or you can move in and bank at the last second and let the capital ship take the hit.

Note:This is much easier in a rebel ship because of maneuverability.

Star Wars: Rebellion PC Cheats

Monday, August 29th, 2005

Star Wars: Rebellion Easy Fighter Killing
This is for places like Coruscant where there are a lot of fighters. Get a fleet really close to the enemy system. This fleet should have 2 Corellian Corvettes and 1 Escort Frigate (Nebulon B’s if you have them) but NO FIGHTERS.

Jump into the enemy system and unpause. When the enemy fighters start moving, pause and jump into hyperspace. The fighters will have reached you and exchanged shots. If you were quick enough they won’t damage you but their squad size will be reduced. Repeat as needed.

Star Wars: Rebellion Take a planet
First target an enemy system and bulid 8 either bulwark battlecruisers or 8 super star deystroyers and commence a planetary bombardment (which will deystroy all their defenses) then invade the system with 12 or more regiments (this should elimanate all chances of a uprising) then continue to run diplomacy missions until the planet is loyal to you.

Star Wars: Rebellion Take a planet…the easy way
Chose a planet you wish to take over. Invade with a fleet large enough to hold the system. Once you have a blockade of the system bring a strong force character (jedi Luke or vader) onto one of the ships. Send them to take out whatever generals they have controlling ground forces. Once thats done you can send them to take out the shields and defenses as many times as necessary with very little risk to themselves. After defenses are down you can incite uprising until they turn to your side without losing any ground forces or wasting time with diplomacy.

Star Wars: Rebellion Fast start for the rebels
The empire allways begins with a planet that supports the rebellion, but is subjugated by a big garrison of ground troops. if you gather a large fleet with several fighter squadrons and put a commander with high leadership and combat (Han Solo or Wedge Antilles) you can easily blockade the planet. Then promote the commander to admiral status. Then bombard the imperial miltary units. Once you have destroyed all imperial units the planet automatically joins the rebellion. Liberating the planet will cause the rebellions popularity to skyrocket often causing several neutral systems to join and imperial systems to uprise. Then you can liberate the imperial system which are pro rebels and soon you control the whole sector. I once conquered an entire sector (sluissi) by day 34 using 2 corvette´s, and a fleet carrier carrying 4 Y-wing´s & 2 X-wing´s, commanded by Han Solo. P.S. You can prepare for planetary shields by having a good spy, like Chewbacca tagging along.

Star Wars: Rebellion Power-up Luke
Later in the game, once you’ve blockaded Coruscant, put Luke on the blockading fleet. SAVE THE GAME! 99% of the time, the Emperor or Darth Vader (or both)will be on the planet. Send Luke on a sabotage mission or capture mission (but make sure not to target the Emperor!) Since the Vader and/or Emperor are both force users, they’ll detect Luke. His mission will be foiled and he will gain two force bonuses: One for encountering Vader/Emperor and another for evading escape. If Luke gets captured, reload the game and send a few infiltrators in with him. Even if he fails then, keep on trying and repeat the process. Before you know it, he’ll become super strong and darn near invincible. I had him over 500 in combat and espionage and 350 in diplomacy!

Star Wars: Rebellion Build ships without losing energy value to systems.
If you need fleets, but your systems are low or out of available energy slots, change the the destination of the construction to a neutral system (it can be habited or inhabited). The ship will still have a cost in maintenaince and refined points, but it will save energy.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Hint: Beat Calo Nord #2 Easily
While on Tatooine, you will go into the cave of the krayt dragon after it is dead to retreive the star map. When you come out you will fight Calo Nord and a band of mercinary scum. You should do the Krayt Dragon mission first as later on in the game Calo is extremely tough to beat if you don’t beat him during this mission.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Hint: Double The Pearls
You can easily gain two Krayt Dragon Pearls simply by following the Dark Side. After killing the Krayt Dragon on Tatooine, demand more money for the task (from the Twi’lek who conceived the mission). When he refuses to give in, kill him and loot his body for a pearl. A second pearl should be in the Krayt Dragon. Both should upgrade your lightsaber considerably.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Hint: Unlimited Money (Dark Side)
When your character gets to Korriban, head to the Sith academy, outside the tombs (where the archeologists are) and be sure to take Juhani with you. There is a character off to the left in the Valley of the Dark Lords named Dak Vesser.

Ask him who he is and Juhani will recognize him as a lost Jedi lover. Dak is bitter and will leave and be in the cantina. Go there and talk with him WITHOUT Juhani. You will be able to tell him that you are going to kill him and you will fight. After you kill him, collect his remains, including 150 credits and a lightsaber crystal.

Now go out of the cantina and take a left to the valley where the entrance to the Sith Academy is, and turn right back around and go into the cantina again. Dak should be alive (as long as Juhani is not with you), so you can talk to him and kill him over and over again! The lightsaber crystals you get from Dak are worth nearly 2000 credits each on Yavin 4. You also receive a lot of Dark Side points if you opt to do this.

Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace Kill Darth Maul Easily
In the final battle there is a much easier way to kill Darth Maul then just hit him with a lightsaber a bunch. Simply get him between you and the pit and continously force push him towards it. He will soon fall in and die.

Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace Force Field
When you are in the city of Theed and you come across an injured soldier asking for water, do about a 180 turn (turn right behind you) and there will be a piece missing from the banister on the bridge. Jump down from there then go along the path up the stairs and in that room will be a flask of water, health, and a force field, just like the ones the destroyer droids have.

Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace Sandcrawler
When you first get into the level with the podrace (after you get the parts and find jar jar on mos espa) don’t go into the market place yet. Instead, walk out and go to the right. If you keep going there will be some alien men there that will say “get him!!!” Kill them and then in the wall of the canyon you will find a path way. Just follow it through and there will be sandpeople there so you need to kill them. In the sandcrawler you will find health and a blaster.

Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace Cheat Codes

Star Wars: Battlefront Cheat: Half-Pints
At the profile management screen, create a profile and name it ‘Jub Jub’. When you play, all your soldiers will be about the size of Ewoks with one or two exceptions. It can be funny or just annoying.

Star Wars: Battlefront Hint: Blaster Rifle Head Shots
The accuracy of the infantry’s blaster rifle decreases dramatically the longer you shoot. However, the first 3-4 shots will almost always be dead on target, making it a deadly snipe tool even over moderately long distances if you keep the bursts short. A great benefit that comes from sniping with the blaster rifle is the rapid fire which can give you up to three head shot points per kill if you’re aim is on. For these reasons, selecting the sharpshooter is really only necessary for sniping over really long distances. On most battlefields though, the scope on the blaster rifle should suffice, also greatly improving your chances at close encounters.

Star Wars: Battlefront Hint: Kill a Jedi Hero

* On the Bespin Platforms, Kamino, and The Rhen Var Citadel stages it is possible to blow Jedi Heroes off of the platforms and/or cliffs by using grenades/grenade launchers or heavy blaster cannons shooting near their feet.
* Any Stage where a speeder bike is available. You can speed through Jedi Heroes at full speed and it will kill them instantly.
* To kill a Jedi hero instantly just play a level with starfighters and land the starfighter on top of them.
