To unlock Gerald’s journal, you must beat the game in Story Mode and replay all of the episodes with each character.
Sonic Battle Hint: Earn Skill Points
You can earn five (5) skill points if you don’t get hit during a battle. Get hit once and you’ll earn two (2) skill points. Get knocked out and you’ll earn just one (1) point, and if you’re knocked out entirely you’ll get nothing!
